Millsite Landscape Services was founded in 1996 to install and maintain the Old Mill District grounds in Bend, Oregon. Through developer Bill Smith’s vision and hard work, the Old Mill District has been transformed into a distinctive community centerpiece, drawing people to share and experience the unique and beautiful landscape setting.
Our company has grown since then to provide quality landscape maintenance, landscape construction, irrigation services, arbor care, seasonal color, snow and ice management, building maintenance and event services throughout Central Oregon. Millsite employs a highly committed and experienced professional staff maintaining 16 full time employees and 12 seasonal employees that partake in continuing education and best practices training.
Millsite Landscape Services is licensed and bonded by the Oregon Landscape Contractors Board (LCB# 8364) in all phases plus backflow, the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB# 153527) and operates with a valid Oregon Pesticide Operators License.

Meet the Team

Mike Bjorvik
Born and raised in Bend, Mike enjoys time with family, friends, his dogs, the outdoors and participating in various sporting activities. Mike attended Oregon State University and graduated with a degree in Horticulture BS (Turf and Landscape Management). Prior to taking on a management role for Millsite Landscape Services, Mike had 17 yrs experience in golf course construction and landscape maintenance. Mike has been integral in helping grow and define the company since 2006. Mike holds a Landscape Contractors License, Commercial Pesticide Applicators License and a CLT (Certified Landscape Technician) License.

John Mauti
John has lived in Central Oregon for over 35 years. He enjoys time with his family, gardening, beekeeping, and outdoor activities, especially archery hunting. John has worked as a general contractor building custom homes and helped lead the maintenance departments for Fuqua homes and Beaver motor coaches. John’s willingness to help along with his construction, handyman, troubleshooting skills allow him to efficiently manage numerous office buildings, infrastructure of the Old Mill District along with maintaining a fleet of trucks and equipment. John holds an electrical license.

Zach Lopez
Zach is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the landscape field. Zach, his wife and 2 children have called Central Oregon home since 2015. Zach's career includes valuable contributions to the City of San Luis Obispo under the Park Maintenance Division. Zach plays an important role in the management of our maintenance staff. Beyond the professional realm, Zach is passionate about nature, finding joy in activities like snowboarding and mountain biking. His love for the outdoors not only defines his personal pursuits but also underscores his deep connection to the work he does. Zach holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicators license.

Tom Coleman
Tom was Born and raised in Southern California, studied Business/Psychology at Oregon State University, and Moved to Bend in 1996. Tom has over 35 years of Business Management experience across various business disciplines including creating, building and operating his own business. Prior to Millsite he worked in Landscape maintenance twice during career changes. Tom is integral to hiring, training and ensuring that our Millsite staff has the knowledge and skill to work safely and deliver a quality product. Tom Loves the outdoors and spending time with his wife and 3 kids hiking, camping, BBQing and just about anything else outside. Tom is a lover of dogs and truly believes that they are man’s best friend. Tom holds a Commercial Pesticide Apprentice License.

Jerid Brown
Jerid has lived in Central Oregon for most of his life as his family moved here in 1977. He lives in La Pine and has two children. He has experience in the construction industry from building custom homes with his uncle to building Columbia Aircraft at The Bend Airport. Jerid is also a skilled equipment operator. Prior to joining the Millsite team, Jerid owned his own Landscape maintenance and enhancement company in Sunriver for two years and worked for a local commercial Landscape maintenance company here in Bend. Jerid enjoys the outdoors and loves to camp and ride his Quads. One of his other hobbies is raising chickens and turkeys.

Trent Eccleston
Trent was Born and raised in the Rogue Valley but has lived in Central Oregon for the past 7 years. Trent's professional journey has been a diverse adventure. Starting with a summer at Millsite and Sunriver Resort, he gained valuable experience. Seeking new challenges, he ventured to Portland, contributing significantly during his time at Nike. However, the magnetic pull of Bend drew Trent back and he now calls it home. Trent is a skilled landscape maintenance foreman, providing valuable training for our staff. Trent holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicators License.

Adam Engle
Adam was born and raised in Schereville Indiana. Adam loves spending time with his dogs, playing guitar, and mountain biking. He lived in Colorado for 15 years before joining the Milsite team in 2022, gaining valuable customer service and business management experience. Adam quickly mastered the many skills needed to be successful in his job.

Taylor Prskalo
Taylor grew up in Seattle and has lived in Bend since 2017. He likes to spend time with his wife and dog hiking, floating the river and playing disc golf. He loves to travel and has been to many countries in Asia and South America. Taylor has always attracted to getting a good work-out and being outside on the job. Taylor is a skilled landscape maintenance foreman and holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

Joe Morrison
Joe was born and raised in Bend until he was 13, then moved back to Bend in 2013. He has 3 years of landscape maintenance/enhancement experience prior to joining the Millsite team. Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends, archery-hunting, fishing, and family vacations to the Oregon coast. He is a fast learner, self-motivated and enjoys making things look nice while still having fun. Joe holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

David Hensley
David was born in California but always had family he would visit in Bend. He spent 6 years in the military as a Chinook helicopter crew chief mechanic and lived overseas in Germany during this time. Before joining the team at Millsite, he worked for 10 years with Capital management partners in commercial real estate maintenance. Every time he visited Bend he would remember the smell of the clean fresh air, the spectacular sunsets and endless outdoor places to explore. David Made the permanent move to Bend in 2010. David enjoys the satisfaction of fixing things with his hands, meteorology and everything aviation related. When not on-site in the Old Mill you will find David exploring the skies and views from the seat of his paramotor flying machine!

Thomas Hunt
Thomas was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Bend in 2017. He has worked in various construction disciplines including concrete, house painting, and framing. He was also a warehouse manager for a local Liquor manufacturing company. Thomas got his start in irrigation working golf course maintenance for several seasons. Thomas is a key employee for Millsite heading up our irrigation department and helping train and mentor our staff. His Interests include, fishing, hunting, Dirt bikes, watching football, summer concerts and BBQing.

Nate Tuffanelli
Nate was born and raised in the beauty of Northern California before moving to Bend in 2016 where he worked as a strength coach and dog trainer prior to pursuing a career in landscaping. Despite having limited experience in the landscaping realm, Nate caught on quickly and immediately became an invaluable full-time Foreman thanks to his drive and his passion for creating outdoor spaces the community can enjoy. His work ethic extends far beyond Millsite’s grounds. Nate spends his free time backpacking, camping, mountain biking, or doing anything else that allows him to explore the outdoors with his pup. In addition to Nate’s success at Millsite and in the outdoors, he has also proudly obtained his Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

Spencer Steckman
Spencer was born and raised in Bend, Oregon, where he attended Bend Senior High School as a dedicated student and member of both the football and lacrosse teams. Growing up in a place like Bend taught him the value of the outdoor community. After gaining experience in various customer service roles, Spencer shifted his focus to his love of the outdoors and pursued a career at Millsite Landscape Services. After several seasons as a seasonal employee, Millsite is excited to welcome Spencer as a full-time Foreman, where he will continue to be a valuable member of Millsite’s ongoing success. In his free-time, Spencer can be found hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, or weightlifting.
